Anyone who has ever met Emily Bell-Wootten knows that she brings passion and grit to every project she takes on. After spending a year at a leading Value Added Reseller (VAR) in the DFW area, scaling a cybersecurity practice and authoring the Cybersecurity Guide for Business, Emily identified a gap in the market: businesses of all sizes needed assistance with GTM (Go-To-Market) strategies and cybersecurity awareness. Motivated by this discovery, she launched EBW Consulting to expand her client base as a Fractional CMO (fCMO), with a special focus on human-centered Product Design, Product Marketing, and Cybersecurity Marketing in the Dallas area.
This isn't her first entrepreneurial venture. In 2011, Emily co-founded After Interactive, a successful digital marketing agency in Dallas. This time, her focus is more strategic—building the foundations for long-term growth instead of honing in on social media and digital tactics alone.
"Unlocking growth potential is my top priority for businesses in today’s competitive landscape. A key driver of that growth is having an effective marketing strategy in place. However, not every company has the resources or expertise to hire a full-time Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead their marketing efforts. What is next?
In 2025, Emily will be launching a Cybersecurity Education course and has partnered with 2 other companies to provide educational resources and an AI MarTech tool for small business. “It’s an exciting time to be a part of the tech marketplace and to be offering much needed services for small business owners to get “unstuck” in their operations.
